Hi! I’m Anna, Mum of 3, chocoholic & a stationery addict who loves ALL things wedding!
I work from my lovely little studio space in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. A place where I can switch off and totally absorb myself in my designs. I get so excited with every new customer as you all inspire me in so many different ways which allows me to keep my ideas fresh and my creativity flowing.
After studying an Art Foundation and completing a BA Hons Degree in Surface Pattern Design, I always knew that I wanted to be part of the design world. It all began in my teenage years. I made birthday cards to sell and during my time at university I provided wedding invitations for family and friends who were getting married and I absolutely loved it!! I knew the wedding and event industry was where I wanted to be.
My husband who I met before university is my biggest support and has been encouraging me on my journey ever since. After university I began working for a leading greeting card company. I remember seeing my first card design in the shops and was so excited! This continued for several years and later I worked for the same company as a freelancer. Still creating my wedding stationery along side.
My Daughter Mia was born in June 2012 and after a very traumatic time during the first year of her life, work was left a bit on the back burner while I looked after her. This experience made me realise that l only get to live once and gave me the courage to follow my dream of having my own business. Joseph was born in 2014 and Evelyn & Elliot opened it’s doors in Summer 2015.
If you are wondering where my business name evolved, well, Evelyn & Elliot are Mia and Joseph's 'middle' names – It just felt right to include them in my future business plans. Don't worry, my youngest son Isaac hasn't been left out – His middle names complete my second business, Michael Henry Designs, where I design repeat patterns for children's clothing.
Evelyn & Elliot was recently awarded ‘Regional Wedding Stationery of the year’ at The Wedding Industry Awards. I was nominated by my past clients which makes this award even more special. I know how important a wedding invitation or a save the date card can be as it provides your guests with the first ‘glimpse’ of what’s to come on your special day.

Providing 'save the dates' and invitations to table plans, place cards, order of service, framed prints and much, much more. I can provide help every step of the way. I offer already existing designs that can be adjusted to suit your colours and also a bespoke service to design something unique just for you.
