Ordering Process, Pricing & FAQ’s

House COLLECTIONS

Pricing will depend on your choice of design, finishes to your stationery and the number of invites you require (remember you only need one invite per family and not per guest). Check out our packages for the best options.
Individual prices vary and start from £3.50 per invite. Designs can be simplified or made more elaborate depending on your taste and budget. I have several styles and options for you to choose from, enabling you to build your own package. There is a wide choice of finishes including type of card, wax seals, ribbons, twine, tags etc.
Please fill out an enquiry form to start the process.

Bespoke

I appreciate how each wedding is unique and I love to reflect this in your stationery. If you choose to use my bespoke service, your design can then be used across all of your stationery including on the day items.
My Bespoke design fee is £250 and as you can appreciate, final pricing will depend on your choice of design/layout, finishes on your stationery and the number of invites you require, (remember you only need one invite per family and not per guest).
There is a wide choice of finishes including type and format of card, wax seals, ribbons, twine, tags etc. Please fill out an enquiry form to start the process.

The Process

ONE

Fill out an enquiry form with as much detail as possible. If you have found a collection you like OR if you would like to opt for something more bespoke let me know here.
If I am available around your date, you will be sent a customisation guide* & a more in depth questionnaire to fill in, along with an invitation to book a phone call to discuss your ideas in more detail.

Two

Once we have had our call & I will create a proposal for you based on your numbers, stationery choices & customisations. At this stage you will sign our agreement & 25% of your total investment will be due.

Three

After I have received your signed contract & deposit, you will receive a “Finer Details” form and an “Etiquette Guide” so that you can work out what details you would like to be included on your stationery.

FOUR

Once you have completed the Finer Details form, I will design a mock up for your approval.

Depending on your requirements, this stage usually takes around 3-7 working days.

Once you have checked through the details and design of your digital proof and given me the go ahead, 50% of your total investment is then required before I proceed with printing.

*Any changes after I have been given the go ahead will be charged accordingly.

Five

This is my favourite stage when I bring your stationery to life and I get so excited for you. This usually takes up to 3 weeks depending on your numbers and how detailed the assembly is. Evelyn & Elliot is a small business and at busy times this lead time can increase. If you are on a tight timescale, please let me know at the beginning of your ordering process so I can try and prioritise accordingly.

six

3 weeks before your stationery is due to be posted, your final 25% investment is due.
Once your stationery is ready, I will send your order packaged carefully with Royal Mail recorded and signed for. On occasion I may have to use an alternative currier. I will contact you to let you know that your order is on its way.

If you are local we can arrange for collection/delivery.

* The Customisation Guide

This is a brochure that shows you all of the options that are available for your stationery. It includes Printing Method, Paper Choices, Envelope Colour, Ink Colours, Embellishments & Assembly. If you’re choosing a collection, I recommend selecting one that is most like what you want & customise from there.

* Finer Details

A questionnaire that goes into more depth about the details you would like on your stationery, think fonts, wording, dates, ceremony details, venue and all other things!

* Etiquette Guide

This guide will help you decide what wording you would like to use on your invitation. There are so many different ways you may want to address your guests & this has some of our favourite choices to help you decide.

FAQ’s

  • My usual turnaround time for my collections is approximately 4-8 weeks. I will always give you an estimate before you commit to your order. If you are on a tight timescale, please contact me and I can advise if it is possible to produce your order any sooner. This will depend on the individual circumstances and how busy I am in the studio.

    For orders requiring significant custom design and all bespoke wedding invitations, be sure to allow several weeks for the design process to be finalised and your stationery to be printed.

  • Remember that you do not need to send an invitation to every single guest, but one per couple/family. Customers usually half the number of wedding invites vs guests. I would advise that you order a few extra to allow for addressing errors or last-minute guest list changes. Reprints are costly due to the manual steps required to process each order, so it is always considerably cheaper to order a few extra up front, rather than reprint more cards later.

  • Due to the personalised nature of my invitations, unfortunately I cannot accept returns. In the unfortunate incident of your order being damaged during delivery please contact me to discuss.

  • Yes, wording can be changed. As part of the design phase you will be sent my customisation guide which includes some ideas. You can supply your own wording to suit the nature of your wedding and I will format it to make sure that it looks right with the design that you have chosen.

  • Most of my collections can be customised. Many of the elements can be altered such as the wording, font, colours and extras added. I will always do my very best to match your wedding colours. Please remember colours may vary from screen to screen.

    Please note that for each of my collections I have chosen the font to suit the design so I recommend keeping these the same, If you do choose to change the font this may alter the look of the design.

    If you decide to use my bespoke design service I can choose a font to your taste to suit your personal design.

  • Yes! All of my invitation designs can be used for any event you like. Wording can be made to suit your event and colours can be changed to suit.

  • I have a mix of paper options, including

    White/Ivory Textured 300gsm

    Handmade Rag Paper with torn edges

    Please contact me here for further Information on paper options.

  • Yes a design can be printed on both sides of our standard white and textured cards. Unfortunately due to the delicate nature of my handmade rag papers, I recommend printing on one side only.

  • Yes of course, I'd love to work with you to create something unique just for you. For more information on my bespoke service and to see previous designs please click here.

  • I am very happy to accommodate international orders, please get in touch and I can work out the shipping costs for you. International orders are subject to any customs & fees that apply to your country.

  • Yes, I will always send you a proof of your design via email for you to check and agree before I go ahead and make your stationery.
